Largest Chinese Character Made of Angbao (Chingay 2023)
Being part of the Singapore Book of Records Largest Chinese Character Made of Angbao at Ci Yuan CC during Chingay 2023.
On 3 February 2023, I had the honour of witnessing and being part of the creation of the “Largest Chinese Character Made of Angbao” at Ci Yuan Community Centre (People’s Association) as part of my Chingay 2023 volunteering experience. This achievement was officially recognised by the Singapore Book of Records and was featured on Channel NewsAsia, Channel 8, and Channel U.

ℹ️ About Chingay Parade Singapore: Singapore’s largest and most iconic multicultural celebration
This experience allowed me to work alongside passionate volunteers and community members, contributing directly to a large-scale collaborative effort. I was able to witness first-hand the coordination, teamwork, and effort required to bring such a meaningful community project to life.
As someone who is passionate about volunteerism and community engagement, I strongly believe that giving back to society is an important responsibility. I hope more youths in Singapore will be inspired to take part in initiatives that create positive change within their communities.
I am grateful to have been part of this meaningful experience.
